MTI Activism Fairs
- Saturday, March 9: Eastside, Goodman Community Center, 1-3 PM
- Sunday, March 10: Westside, Elver Park Neighborhood Center, 3-5 PM
When it comes to collective advocacy and action, it’s difficult to figure out where to start. There are so many actions, so many people, and so many needs to consider. This is why your Union is hosting two “Activism Fairs” for members, families, and students. Learn, organize and fight for the schools our children deserve!
The first of these events is on March 9th, 1 PM – 3 PM at the Goodman Community Center, and the second is on March 10th, 3 PM – 5 PM at the Elver Park Neighborhood Center.
The goal is to gather our voices so we can speak as one! Whether you’re a new employee, a veteran, a parent, or a scholar, your voice is important, and you will have a space with us!
All our students:
– Deserve fully staffed schools with more allocation
– Smaller class sizes for better learning environment
– more student services staff to meet their mental health needs
Community members, MMSD families students and staff are welcome to come learn and organize with our educator union!
