Members Voted and Approved an 8% Cost of Living Adjustment
Every student should have caring, qualified, and committed educators who also deserve a full cost-of-living-adjustment!
MTI members unanimously voted to ratify the Tentative Agreement of an 8% base wage adjustment for the 2023-24 school year. The Tentative Agreement on the terms and conditions of the 2023-24 Collective Bargaining Agreements cover all three MTI bargaining units. With our Tentative Agreement, the District agrees to provide a cost-of-living base wage increase of 8% to all teachers and staff.
The Tentative Agreement (and the associated wage increase) cannot take effect until ratified by the Union membership.
On Thursday, June 8, 2023 members unanimously voted and approved an 8% Cost of Living Adjustment! Next, on Friday, June 9, 2023 the Presidents of the 3 bargaining units signed the Tentative Agreement with MMSD.
